Hi
I am looking at getting a frame set to build up but while I am saving up for components I would be looking at putting my current groupo (tiagra off an 09 defy 1) onto the new frame (defy advanced 2012) until i build it up. my question is would the BB/crankset be compatable with the newer frame?
Thanks
Chris

Defy 1 '09
Defy Advanced 2 '12
Looks like you'll need a new BB as the '12 runs a press fit unit. The cranks should be fine but check with an expert before pulling the trigger.

...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.
