'12 Specialized Tarmac Elite vs '13 Giant TCR Advanced 2?

Hi Guys,

Looking to upgrade my bike, and have set the budget at approx. $2000

I'm looking to start riding a lot! And want a bike that is responsive and can be used for racing.

The two I have come down to are the 2012 Specialized Tarmac Elite Rival and 2013 Giant TCR Advanced 2.

Any feedback would be great. I'm going to test ride both before making my choice as well.

Tarmac for me, but both would be good bikes. Can you go in to each store and have a look or possibly test ride, you might notice some difference that draws you to one bike or the other.
