Bike Wishlist for $5000

Would like to know what road bike would give you some goosebumps

A bike that you might already own or something you are ogling, could be something you are saving for or just something you know through your research.
Does not have to be a $5000 bike, the price tag is up to.

Think along the lines of Lightest Bike, may be the most aero bike.
Could very well be the most comfortable bike or could be an extremely good allrounder, let us know what the reasons are for selecting the bike.
An awesome looking bike could give you the tickle ?

Lets say you pick a $2000.00 as your choice, it should stack up against a $5000 bike, meaning one rider timing an equal if not better lap time on the $2000.00
Performance is definitely a sort of priority, rest is up to you :)

2013 TCR Advanced 0 I have one sand think it's the best bang for your buck on the market. They also look great and out perform many higher $$ bikes.

I just had a quick glance at bikeexchange, and I reckon you could pick up a pretty sweet bike for $5k

Giant TCR Advanced SL 0 with Di2 and Zipp 404s

Another TCR with Di2 and Zipps

both of those are XL frames (which I would assume is 58cm?), Giants always offer great value for money, if I only had 5 grand and I was looking to buy a bike it would be either of those two.

Normal price for the TCR Advanced SL 1 is around $5k, and that's a solid bike equipped with Dura Ace, and if I couldn't find a higher spec one on special I would probably get one of these.

Or for something a bit different - Look 675. I'm not really sold on the aesthetics but maybe it looks good in the flesh, would have to see one in person to be sure. I have a 695 and it's a fantastic bike.

Currently a Specialized Crux Expert Carbon Disc (Cyclocross Bike), sex on wheels, not a pure road bike but don't care

Guys, does anyone commute to work in a 6K bike?

My BiL commutes frequently in Sydney on an Orbea Orca SDR. His LBS pointed out that you don't see too many people commuting around Sydney in Ferrari's...so now he's on the look out for a titanium commuter

I went down to a LBS to check out some bikes, and all they could recommend was a GIANT TCR in the 6K range.

5k? easy....half a new LOOK.
I commute on my LOOK when i feel like it. I usually take something more utilitarian though, bit of dirt on the way.
