Which frame is better?

Postby Addict » Fri May 23, 2008 12:42 pm

HI all

Can anyone help me with this?
Im having trouble knowing which frame is better. (ignore the group sets that come with the bike).

Specialized allez elite compact Frame:Specialized A1 Premium Aluminum, fully manipulated tubing, compact race design, FACT carbon seatstays w/ Zertz inserts

Specialized allez Comp Double frame
Specialized E5, fully manipulated Columbus E5 SLX tubing, compact race design, FACT carbon seatstays w/ Zertz inserts

Thanks.

A1 premium Alloy is used on the basic bikes of Specialized's range with E5 the choice when price goes up.

The tubing is made for Specialized by another Italian connection, Columbus, from proprietary E5 aluminium alloy. This blend includes silicon, copper, manganese, magnesium and zinc and according to Specialized, E5 retains more of its strength after welding than other aluminium alloys.
