I'm about to get a new MTB - have narrowed my choice to an avanti aggressor 29er, but the question is do I go the .1 or the .2

yes I know the fork on the .2 is a little better, what I dont know is about the gearset or brakes....

whats the difference (in the real world, not from a spec sheet) between

For mine, at that level Shamino gear is probably a little better value than SRAM. The SLX gear on my Voodoo hasn't given me a moments trouble but neither has the X9 on my Giant
