Need a single

I'm looking at buying a disc wheel that I'll use for both Road TT and Track.

As it will have dual purpose, I need to select a tubular tyre that is suitable for both situations. I'm assuming that I should go 22 or 23mm but which one I don't have experience with

The wheel will not be used for training and to my knowledge the roads where TT's are conducted are fairly clean.

You will also need a tub that doesn't have a specific direction of travel if its the disc I'm thinking of. It's a flip flop track/road disc?

Good point, I need to wait till the wheel turns up so I can determine if the conversion is a flip/flop or ends up being the same direction.

Also I need to decide on which glue, so any suggestions on that?

Zipp Tangente would be my recommendation, very fast tyres and not directional.

Don't forget to get a valve adaptor

I use Vittoria Triathlon Evo Tubular Tyre on my disc wheel because it is one of the few tubulars that has a rubber inner tube (as opposed to latex) so it will stay pumped up. Pumping up a disc wheel is very hard (impossible?) by yourself and it's one less thing you have to worry about on race day.

I use Continental glue (there is a different version for carbon and alloy wheels). Need about 3/4 of a tube per tyre

I currently use a Vittoria Evo CX 23mm on the disc wheel I use on both concrete and timber tracks. Naturally not quite as fast as the Vittoria Pista EVO on timber, but still a low rolling resistance tyre and wears well.

I also use the EVO CX for TT's and RR's too...
