Looking for feedback...anyone have these? If so, what are your thoughts? How long have you had them?

i have had mine 12 months now, no issue at all. i have lent them to a few mates seeing as they are my 2nd set of wheels and they are all impressed

i am a heavier dude and these are on a cx bike so they are 32 spoke wheels, the carbon is straight and true and there is no feeling of noodlieness while applying the power on these at all

I emailed them nearly a month ago, never got a reply. Will never use them now.

Which one did you email Mark? Cayden or Light Bicycle?

I had a prompt response from the guys at Cayden. They are Sydney based, but source rims from Taiwan. They offer a crash replacement warranty in addition to a two year warranty.

Hi guys I just found this thread, apologies Mark we changed hosting a while ago and lost about a week of emails which was a real bummer. Sites 100% now and please email any questions to ride@carbonbikewheels.com.au or call us on 0424 440 443 any time. The season is ramping up and we've been sending out a lot more wheels so I'll ask a few clients from states outside Sydney to join this thread with feedback (not mates). Hope this will help give some open feedback about the wheels and service. Many thanks Ben from Cayden.

Hi. Has anyone purchased these wheels or heard reviews on them yet?
They have 30% off sale at the moment which makes them tempting

Yep I bought a set of clinchers a while back. Had a few dramas with breaking spokes in the rear wheel when under load. Ben sent me a few replacement spokes for no charge. After having a few more breakages he asked for the rear to be posted back to be re-laced. No problems since. He has always been quick to reply to questions and was keen to make sure I was happy with the product. I have done about 3,000 to 4,000km on them including hills and racing. They roll nicely and seem to be holding up well.

Thanks Paulz. Still deciding if I get my Red Winds converted to 11 speed or sell them and get a brand new set of these.
They appear to have spent money on their website and look professional but I can't find any reviews

I have a set of these wheels there 50mm clinchers, which I purchased in May this year. Since they have been on the bike I havent taken them off, their great. Im 94kg 6 ft and they hold up just fine. delivered in good packaging with everthing and I weighed them and they were spot on to what was listed on their site.
It took a few rides to get the brakes bedded into the rims with a few odd sounds, but now they are fine. I am running a set of 25mm tyres on them and they go great, many compliments when Im out riding, and definately changed the look of the bike.
I would seriously recommend them if your looking for a great priced carbon wheel. I had many question for Ben and he was very helpfull even sent a pic of them on his bike. I have some not so smooth roads around parts of the Barossa Valley where I live, they can take a beating, even had them on dirt roads, no problems. Once your on the smooth stuff they roll well, and have stayed true to this day, covered over 1500ks on them.
I believe they have a new Blunt style carbon wheel on their site.
Hope this helps anyone looking at these wheels.
Cheers

I bought a 38 front and a 60 back to ride in the Ironman world champs in Kona last week. They are a sweet ride! Great wheels and I think I took the perfect size for the horrendous winds over there. I'm doing the Fitz Challenge 250km (5000m of climbing) next weekend which I'll be using them for too. Great for training and racing on. I might buy another deeper back one to have for my other Ironman races. Great wheels I highly recommend!

+1

I was thinking the same as i was reading through all that.
If drivers and riders spent more time worrying about their responsibilities than their rights then roads would be far safer.

I have no connection to the company, apart from owning a set of wheels which I purchased.

You can understand though why it looks a bit sus when two first time posters join up in the last couple of days to post in this thread.

Bought a set of the 50mm full carbons 4w ago,now done 500K
So far ,these are excellent wheels--I have the latest type which have the blunt profile and etched "CADEN" ( formerly CAYDEN) on the sides
Riding done on mainly good roads ,but quite a few bumpy sections and they remain true
Relatively light at around 1650g.I am 80kg.
Come with pads, skewers and extensions ( useless--just get 70mm stems)
Got them for around 1k delivered---they are every bit as good ( so far ) as Zipps,Eastons I have ridden before, and communication from the site has been excellent
If you are in the market for a set of carbon wheels for around 1k I would certainly give these a good look.

1650g seems high.
They list them at 1480g.
