Considering building my own bike. So all the bits you need to ride it eg stem, bars, seat post, saddle etc, are they available as a kit?
Thanks!

The beauty of building yourself is that it gives you the freedom to select the parts specifically suited to you and to individualise the bike.
My 2 cents, if you want to go down the route of buying all the stuff as a kit (even if such a kit exists) you'd probably be just as well buying the complete built-up bike and forgetting about self-build.

Generally no. Things like stem & handlebar length are personal preference, and the seatpost needs to match the frame in terms of diameter. Manufacturers will make matching components so you can make a set, but they're not sold as a kit.quitetall wrote:Considering building my own bike. If you are keen to build, maybe purchase an old complete bike and pull it apart first, then put it back together.

wanting a finishing "kit", and then wanting options is contradicting...Six13 wrote:Thanks, I did see that one, doesn't give many options.
you will be able to get parts in a matching series in your determined size, but not as a kit due to the amount of options there are.
