Hi guys,
I've never owned a road bike but a friend of mine needs a tyre and I'd like to gift him one.
Here's a list of candidates, obviously the best bang for buck, please help me choose out of this list of cheapies.

The bad news is not every road bike has the same type of tire on it, and road bikes can usually fit 2 or 3 sizes which are chosen on a comfort vs performance basis.
ie for best results you should look at the tire fitted to it.
If I had to take a totally random stab from the things that are in stock, I'd try the continental 700x25c grand sport.

Thx for the reply, hes def got Conti Gatorskins either a 700c x 25 and can possibly take up to a 700c x 32.
Gatorskins are a little too expensive right now, so the conti sport looks like a good alternative

Check for clearance in brake stays. Use the allen keys to measure the free space with 23/25mm tyres in place.
Wider tyres might rub the calipers.
