Not really sure what a bototm bracket top get, is but
Yes, I use just the same (FC6650 + BBR-60) and seems fine on my road bike which I never really take out when raining, but it gets wet when out and about. Ran it with a hope stainless BB for a bit and the 6650 fit well enough but put that back on my ss 29er which gets more of a work out in dust and mud so thought better off having the high quality seals and bearing may help longevity. Guess I am more or less kidding myself but...?
For info this helps clear some of the this goes with that fog... http://www.celebrazio.net/bicycling/shi ... tml#charts

All of Shimano's two-piece (often called Hollowtech II, but technically that only applies to 105, Ultegra and Dura-Ace [or for MTB, SLX, XT and XTR] which have hollow arms) cranks and bottom brackets use the same critical dimensions of assembled width (MTB and road differ, but are the same within their respective families) and spindle diameter, so any level will suit, just pick screw0in or press-fit as applicable to your frame. BBR60 is the equivalent level of the older 6600/6700 Ulegra units, however if you want better, the BB-R9100 Dura-Ace version is a step up.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
