I want to pick up a PM for my bike but am confused by BB/Crankset/Frame compatibility issues. This is my bike's spec sheet. https://i.imgur.com/QCZ3elu.png
All identifying info I can find written on the bike itself is
Crankset
FSA Omega Adventure MegaExo D 46/36T
120/90mm BCD
CK-4002 170K
BB
BB-AL86 019
Now the PM I'm looking at is this https://www.pushys.com.au/fsa-powerbox- ... nkset.html
It says the compatibility is BB386 but that it fits every frame (if you buy a new BB I guess). I assume I'll need a tool to remove the refit the crankset and possibly another one for the BB (as well as buying a BB) if I have to go that route?
Anyone know where this leaves me? Thanks in advance for any help.
I feel like it's tempting to just get a pedal based PM to save all this mucking about but I'd like to go to a 50T chainring anyway and I really hate roadie pedals.

I assume from the image, that you have a Giant CX or similar bike? It probably came with FSA 24mm spindle crankset.
BB386 is a 30mm spindle, so you'd need to buy adapters to suit your bottom bracket. If your BB is BSA (threaded) RoToR makes a BSA threaded to 30mm adapter. If you have a press-fit BB, perhaps a BB86, you can buy a BB86 to BB386 adapter also.
First step is to ascertain what BB your bike actually has fitted and go from there.
IMO - the PowerBox is a very good buy as far as PMs go - based on a hybridised Power2Max S Type & NG - it'll serve you well.
Cheers

Thanks Macca, it seems further investigations are necessary.
