Just looking for some advise on a potential next purchase. After a relative long search, I am down to two potential candidates and am torn between the Bianchi Aria and Canyon Aeroad:
Bianchi Aria, Ultegra
https://www.bianchi.com/global/focuson/aria-370312
Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 8.0, Ultegra
https://www.canyon.com/en/road/aeroad/2 ... x-8-0.html
I think the Bianchi may have its nose in front because I can physically test the bike, it’s not a matte finish and $1,000 cheaper, but keen to hear everyone’s thoughts here.

Not much difference in the spec, except the brakes and wheels. Perhaps that is where most of the price difference lies.
Both nice looking bikes but it's you who have to look at it and ride, so buy the one that appeals to the heart.

You won't be able to test ride the Canyon, unless you test ride the Bianchi and then buy the Canyon, each bike will be had in isolation. And I'm sure either of them will be a brilliant, attractive and fast bike that will set new PRs and turn a lot of heads.
Are the Canyon's wheels slightly deeper section than the Bianchi's?
Cherry red or the famous Bianchi Celeste colour seems to be the main choice

Keep in mind the Bianchi isn’t a UCI compliant frame and it weighs 1kg more than the Canyon in campag spec. In addition ive read zero data on the Bianchi’s “aero” credentials.
If however you can look past these points, I can say having seen both in person that the Bianchi looks the absolute ducks nuts.
