Hi Everyone,
I have a Giant TCR Pro disc with Ultegra 11 speed (6870) and RS785 shifters.
I want to run sprint shifters ( Sw-R610) but i cannot find a port of the shifters to fit them.
Can anyone shed some light on what options i have to fit them. I read somewhere that a 5 port junction box way be a solution but before i rush out i want to make sure it will actually work.
Thanks in advance

ST-R785 Hydraulic Road Dual Control Brake Levers/Shifters: These hydraulic road shifters are compatible with both the climbing and sprint shifters. These are compatible with the SM-RT99 centerlock 140mm and 160mm rotors and WH-RX31 wheelset (which as no standard rim brake track.) These require the BR-785 dual piston hydraulic disc calipers. They do not have the special wiring port required for the SW-R610 Sprint Shifters and a SM-EW90-B 5-port junction A is required to use the SW-R600 climbing shifter

Oh great thanks,
So if i read that correct they arent compatible and cannot be used?
or can the 5 port junction box be used? I can see it says for the R600 climbing shifters so does that mean it wont work for the sprint shifters?
thanks

The Sprint shifters cannot be used with the R785 shiters, as they do not have the additional cable ports, and the attached cables to the sprint shifters are too short to reach to the junction box. Additionally, the R610 version of the sprint shifters has a ridged plug which will only fit the "special" grooved port in some model shifters. The Dura-Ace version of the sprint shifter has the standard plug, but comes back to the first point of not fitting because the R785 shifters don't have any extra ports, standard or special.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

thanks for the reply Duck. You always seem to have the answer i am after lol
You were 100% correct. We played around with it but they were too short for a 5 port junction box and didnt fit into the shifters.
Had to can the idea unfortunately.
cheers
