A new bike for my wife

So mu wife just got to know how to ride a bike like 3 weeks ago or something and wanting to buy a cheal first bike and looking for something around tbe 150 aud mark she will.ride it in southbank, new farm, botanic gardens and so on, basically something with our kids nk work commute or offroading. So she is looking at repco or hyper at bigw , something called terrain or tourex at kmart and fligt brand at rebel sports. I know u guys woul consider them all trash but if you could find it in you to humor the question on which way to go that would be great thnx :)

Gumtree. Buy someone elses unused ladies Giant/Avanti/Apollo hybrid bike. For some reason Gumtree and eBay is full of them. Give it a quick going over, and robert's your mother's brother.

I think the second one is well worth a look. Ad says it has just been serviced and has new brakes and tyres...bargain.

Thank you i will check them out but how safe is it for someone who does notnhave an eye to check a bike to buy a used one?

Well the second one has been serviced recently, so would have been checked over for issues. Don't imagine it's much different to buying a bike in a box at a department store and taking it home to assemble, possibly even less of a risk.

Are these pedals its own or has it been replaced due to the color? I dont want to sound picky just want to know what am i looking at

Do you mean the crank arms on the Apollo ? Not sure, but I think they may be original. Am not an Apollo expert.
