The Pbike from Planetus of Spain is an all-in-one tracking device, theft alarm, LED light, crash detector – and more – and it is seeking UK distribution. And more? There's also an insurance option, and the device can start or stop the Strava app remotely.
The LED light version of the device can be attached to a bike like a regular LED light, but there's also a "hidden" version that is incorporated in a small seat pack.
The device works over Bluetooth, but the bulk of the security features – such as the crash alerts and tracking of a stolen bike – work better with an optional monthly data connection.
Planetus will be launching Pbike in the UK during the London Bike Show, starting on 23rd February, stand LB1795.
