What are these wheels? "Fulcrum racing expert"

Postby Puppycatbug » Wed Feb 21, 2018 7:38 am

I have these wheels, for the life of me I can't find any dam information on what wheelset they actually are.
The wheels came with my Merida Scultura 6000. I've tried contacting Merida but no response.

Any detectives can point me in the right direction?
thank you :)

Fulcrum wheels are made by Campagnolo. Most likely these wheels are an OEM spec made for Merida.

This; They're probably on par with the Racing 7, but maybe with some tweaks to the hub or minor details.

Probably a hybrid of parts from a couple of different model wheels.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

Yeah, what he said.

I just sold an orphan Fulcrum Racing4 which apparently was a combination of Racing3 hubs and Racing5 rims (or vice versa, can't remember) and was OEM fitment on Specialized Roubaix and Tarmac Expert etc (I think). Nice wheel.

Apparently odd numbered Fulcrum wheels are retail, even numbered Fulcrums end up as OEM fitment (not sure where that leaves the Quattro) or something like that.
Campagnolo for show, SunTour for go
