Will both Ultegra 6800 and R8000 brake calipers work ok with 6700 levers? For 6800 I read yes, but I didn't find an answer on 8000.
I am upgrading to wider rims and already use 28mm tyres. I read that 8000 supports 28mm tyres properly, and they're a pain to get on with the 6700 calipers. But I have 6700 levers and that's not going to change.

The biggest change with brake leverage ratios came with the change from 6600 to 6700 (and related generation others). There hasn't been anything drastic done since then. One thing worth noting is that if you're using 28mm tyres, R8000 have better clearance, as the arms are scalloped out to fit better around fatter tyres.
EDIT: Post-24-hour race brain drain, I should read things better; missed the line about using 28mm rubber Short version - go the R8000.

I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
