Hi guys,
Pondering about getting a speed &/or cadence sensor for my bike to pair with my Garmin 310XT, so I had a quick squiz on eBay for ANT+ speed sensors, and I came across "Cycplus" branded Magnet-less sensors for around $15ea. Not sure how 'magnet-less' works, but was wondering, has anyone used this particular device? Any comment ?
I had a quick Google but couldn't really find much on it. Didn't want to spend too much, just something I can use to monitor my cadence, and maybe speed (though the 310XT apparently does GPS speed).
Thoughts ?

I've got one, cadence (speed/cadence are different models). Works fine.
Well Ant+ mode does, my Lyzene Super Gps detects it in BLE mode but gets 0rpm.
Waterproofness seems adequate, some glue substance (don't use acid cure silicon near electronics) would gaurantee it full waterproof.
Takes about 3 seconds to wakeup and a few seconds averaging lag. Bumpy surface can freak it out for 200rpm.
It's some sort of accelerometer in there, doesn't use a magnet or need to go upside down.
Came with a second battery too, which is handy because I'm not sure how available they are.
Probably same cost to just buy a new unit rather than more battery's.

some talk here
http://bicycles.net.au/forums/viewtopic ... r#p1427535
I have them both, connection with my garmin 910xt (and computer via ant+ dongle) never had issues with ant+. I haven't really noticed any crazy numbers with mine, it does lag a bit for a few seconds, but not sure the garmin one is too much better.
When on the trainer all I do is look at the numbers and its all quite consistent, but keeping in mind thats inside and no start/stop stuff.
I have a separate speed sensor for the trainer wheel and swapping around no issues.
bluetooth and ant+ connection to phone wasn't an auto connect everytime and sometimes plain couldnt get it to register. Although my speed sensor did come with a flat battery which caused some initial intermittent connection issues.
