Hi everyone! I'm hoping for your opinion on the following two bikes.
I'm looking for a commuter hybrid bike, really just to get me from an inner suburb to the CBD several times a week, via cycle tracks.
I'd like the option of taking it off-road to non demanding tracks as well. I'm in the $500-1000 price bracket.
I've narrowed my choices down to the Polygon Heist 5.0 and the Reid Urban X3.
Which would you recommend? They both look very similar to me.

Very similar. The Polygon has modest suspension and 40mm tyres, compared to no suspension and 35mm tyres on the Reid.
If the non-demanding tracks you wish to ride don't have rocks or drops to contend with, suspension won't really be of much benefit. Graded gravel fire trails are easily handled with rigid forks.

When you are driving your car, you are not stuck IN traffic - you ARE the traffic!!!
