Giant stem compatibility

Hi all. Looking to buy a newish giant slr carbon stem to replace the original stem on my 2011 tcr. Will this work?

Should be fine. I think from memory the '11 has a 1 1/8" upper steerer tube, while from '12 onwards some models increased to a 1 1/4" steerer and stem; the stems include a shim to allow fitting to a 1 1/8" steerer.
