I'd pick the Wilier, as that's not how you spell 'specialised'.

It is when it's the brand name. And it's not how you spell "disc".
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

disc or disk is also subjective - especially coming from an I.T. perspective.

But in the case of vehicles of all types - Disc is the correct way. .........For which I apologise. :? or is it apologize

As far as American spelling goes. Does a specialist specialize?

Back to the bikes.

The Wilier is 40% off which brings it way under the Roubaix RRP.

I took the Wilier for a test ride yesterday. The Melbourne wind was blowing it around a bit. Other than the wind it was smooth as silk.

Fair call - I never said American English spelling is any more coherent than anyone else's. :D

Depends which type of bike snob you'd like to be.

Personally I'd be the biggest I could be and go the Wilier

Personally I can not see a reason why you should buy an Ulterga equipped Specialized when the Wilier with DuraAce is cheaper. Assuming the Wilier is available in your size.

I'll let you know after I've bought it.

There's a couple of specials left - but in odd sizes.

That probably be why it's 40% off.

Yeah I vote for the Willier too. Dura-Ace for the price of Ultegra and what is reportedly a very good bike - why not?!?

Not subjective at all.... Like break/brake and metre/meter (which the Americans have completely failed to grasp), they're different words with quite distinct definitions.
