Put them on block. Easy. Realistically, blocking is a far more destructive way to stop them, it prevents future corro, not just the subscription ;)

Cell FTW.

Spamgourmet trumps "blocking" them

the problem with "blocking" them is they may have spared your email address. with spamgourmet you can see exactly who has shared your email address

Let me tell them - I got two emails and accept the error though will let them know that they should ensure that unsubscribed people remain unsubscribed.

CE got back - as you can guess, it was simply an error that two mails were sent instead of one. I also mentioned about unsubscribed (ex-subscribers) receiving and assume that they will be able to correct this.

Dear members, remember to be nice - it is your choice where to shop and as CE are in the relaunch phase, lets give them the constructive support that helps them to improve.

Got an email from them early yesterday morning with my discount code, too late as I had placed my order days ago. Hopefully it stays valid for a while and if this transaction goes smoothly then I might order again.

For anyone interested...Code: PM00001 Sale: 10%

A bit peeved that the "save $10" code that was belatedly sent to me is now a "save 10%" and that the "24 hours only" specials that I rushed to order are still current a week later, so I'm out of pocket $100 because of all this.

Post on their facebook page. It is no fault of anyone really but asked them humbly if they want to show you how much they appreciate your business. Worth a try.

I got four emails from them this morning. 1 landed in Junk folder, the other 3 in my inbox. All the same email.

Pffftt only four...I got nine!

The other problem I appear to have now is the courier (TNT) left a card in my mailbox saying they tried to deliver my order but of course I was at work. The card says a signature is required. Just spent (wasted) 10 mins on TNT website trying to arrange re-delivery but it seems I have to be home to sign for the parcel, they won't leave it without a signature like the option that every other courier I've ever dealt with has. I haven't got the time to take a day off work and sit around home all day and wait for a courier and getting it delivered to work is not an option. Nor is picking it up from their depot which is ~30km away. So it looks like I will have to contact CE and arrange to have goods sent back and my money refunded.

I only got 2 as well, but by geez, they've got a lot of crap to sort out. Besides, by being based overseas now, I feel like there's no reason to choose them over say, Wiggle or c r c now.

Rossco, that sucks! They really REALLY should be telling you if there are any requirements for couriers before the sale (if not legally, then just plain customer service)

I only got two emails - it is a bit screwed up, first one had a different email address in it and titled "cyclingexpress01" (and with no plain-text content) while the second one was actually to my email address titled "Check Out Our Brand New Site!" however with no (i.e. broken) replyto address and a broken image at the top and a few more down the bottom.

It is highly irregular that after the first duplicate "Welcome" emails on Aug 1. that this is still in test-phase with 'live' customers.

From my side - I am still interested to see what updates or changes will happen with the relaunch and did try to take a look at their 10% price match guarantee to see the conditions however it is unfortunately linking to a 'membership signup' page so I can't find out more. I logged in though it seems that the old site data is not completely migrated to the new one - contact details yes though not past order details and some other details. May just be a matter of time.

Iikewise unsubscribed a while back but have got a few this past couple of days.

Shouldn't unsubscribing actually remove me from the database? clearly they still have my details.

I called this morning and clarified that Cycling Express are still a 100% Australian Owned company. As a customer I am interested to know and understand that it is just the logistics which is now off-shore in China.

Similar to DX.com I am guessing. Dropshipping from the distributor is probably here already, we just don't necessarily recognise it... now if they could just be CHEAP.
