I thought I got in relatively quickly, saw it 2 hours or so after it was posted on Monday evening but eventually heard back that it was sold.

The seller's response to your question was a bit rude .QuangVuong wrote:Going off what you said, any Vic people near Frankston want a free bike? I just want the brakes and levers from this. The rest you can have.

Yeah I know right. Kinda makes me not want it at all. He prob doesnt have a clue on how to remove that stuff. But AX brakes don't come around at that price very often.ldrcycles wrote:The seller's response to your question was a bit rude .QuangVuong wrote:Going off what you said, any Vic people near Frankston want a free bike? Tell me about it. I'm convinced the average Taswegian is stunted somehow, as you get so few frames above 57cm coming upLG wrote:He has listed a bianchi bianchi frame as well, if only it was a 58 and not a 55.

My dad used to have AX (or was it DX the swirly script always fooled me) brakes.QuangVuong wrote: But AX brakes don't come around at that price very often.
He quickly ran out of a source of pads so he ground down regular pads on a sanding disk and cut the grooves in the edge with a hacksaw blade.

Seems like cartridge pads fit in them. They just need to be cut short a bit. However, I dunno the likelihood of getting the brakes anymore. Seller is apparently pissed at my offer Im really amazed how a rude guy like that can keep selling so much stuff and keep an alright feedback record as well.ironhanglider wrote:My dad used to have AX (or was it DX the swirly script always fooled me) brakes.QuangVuong wrote: But AX brakes don't come around at that price very often.
