Yeah I know right. Kinda makes me not want it at all. He prob doesnt have a clue on how to remove that stuff. But AX brakes don't come around at that price very often.

My dad used to have AX (or was it DX the swirly script always fooled me) brakes.

He quickly ran out of a source of pads so he ground down regular pads on a sanding disk and cut the grooves in the edge with a hacksaw blade.

Seems like cartridge pads fit in them. They just need to be cut short a bit. However, I dunno the likelihood of getting the brakes anymore. Seller is apparently pissed at my offer Im really amazed how a rude guy like that can keep selling so much stuff and keep an alright feedback record as well.
