Upgrade suggestions?

Giant TCR Advanced SL w/not sure at $4500

Focus Izalco Pro 1.0 or 3.0 $4700 and $3100

Scott Foil Team Issue w/Dura Ace 9000 $5300

+ Boardman Road Air 9.8 $5000
+ Giant Propel Advanced SL 1 2013 $5000

I'd look at those plus the Boardman because it comes 404 Firecrests which would easily be half the bike price and can't be matched by any of the other bikes.
The Izalco is frameset is amazing value for money. If I was to get the lighter 1.0, I would prefer to supplement that weight Di2. Otherwise the 3.0 with SRAM force is pretty identical. I would suggest riding the Giant's at this pricepoint.

I'm not a BMC fan so not experienced with their frames. Just test ride as many as you can.

I dont know much about Boardmans, are they any good?

Yeah the plan is to try test ride them and shortlist them from there. I was just trying to cut the list back a bit first.

From what I've read, they're very very good. Goldcross stocks them if there's one near you. Ritchey everything (I'm a big fan of stuff from Tom Ritchey). The wheels are 404's (Tubs) which Cell are stocking for 3k at the moment I think. It's hardly a 2k bike. I've ridden the entry level Team Carbon and was pretty amazed at how refined it is.

I'm not a fan of logo's everywhere, but for value, I wouldn't really care. The 9.8 is less on side Izalco 'all rounder' side but closer to a racing setup. The Air 9.8 is the lightweight variant with 202's. Still pretty good but depends if you want Aero or Lightweight. Give it a ride with the rest and see how you go.

Yeah that would be great. It looks a great set up but I am not sure about spending the cash without having ridden one.
