Agreed. I find 500 lumen more than enough. Anything brighter on a shared path or road is unnecessary.RonK wrote:Dumb.

I do commute every now and again with a possum fryer, and make sure to get the angle right and dial back the power.
Its mate that goes on the helmet stays at home on such occasions, but not everyone else does that, of course.
