Go find a store where you can sneakily swap it with a 56 and i'll take it in a second ;)

Very nice looking Trek though. Def like the older models over the new ones with the brake changes. Stealthy looking Foil above as well :)

Cheers for the Trek love guys seems to be some anti's on this site (maybe a Lance thing?)

Pawnii I'm jealous I was aiming at sub 6000. Just dont know whats left other than removing one cage and the bar fly thats about 30g but Its cheating if it then goes straight back on isnt it?
A Hater has got to hate... else the poor souls have nothing left.
I wouldn't worry about it though, I'd put that trek up against any bike

Swap out those Zipps for Tubs and you'll probably be under 6kg.
FWIW: weight isn't everything, the Ride is!
And your ride looks great, and no doubt you already know how well it performs.

cheers Dimis,
It performs fantastic and very smooth.... probably the same level of stiffness as the tarmac, definitely decends and rolls quicker than the SL4 but I like the sl4 more out of the saddle. And given the fact that they weigh the same why would one buy an s-works over the Pro other than the decals?

God damn that is light!

Mine could do with carbon bars/stem and tubular wheels. But I'm not keen on those wheels.

A lighter saddle would help too.

Gboaf. Try a specalized romin pro at 160g they are pretty light and comfortable. Good value on second market I ended up with an sworks toupe but paid thru the ar$e for it.
Also got one of those selle superleggera knock offs at 95g and $60 great value if you don't mind a hard saddle and are under 90kg

I use clinchers also as I don't want the tub hassles. And I got my farsport 38mm down to 2050g including everything. Stripped they weighted 1270g

Pawni..cheers for the tip looking now! Still considering the brakes too

Haha GTR is a shade over 1500kg with all the fun stuff! The added weight of the 4WD system is countered with just under 550hp :P

Not bad.

I know of a very nice R32 GTR, red in colour with white wheels and some GIO logos on it, along with side exit exhausts and nice slick tyres on it. It just launches out of corners.

443Kw at the wheels (597hp)! Not bad for early 90s. :D Beautiful car. About the only one I'd like more is an F1, but that's a whole other league of BMW V12 powered sheer violence.

That Giant of yours is really light for Di2.

Yeah the group A GTR's were absolute weapons! Have seen both the Winfield and GIO GTR's out on the track a few times during demos etc and they still give you goosebumps as they scream past when driven in anger.

The Giant it the Limited Edition Advanced SL that was released in 2009, only 161 made. Came standard with the Camilio brakes, Fizik carbon saddle, Di-2, super light mavic tubulars and some other funky bits and pieces. Its so nice to ride but im too scared to race it being so rare and special.

@Pawnii, yep, an R35 would definitely help accentuate your bike ;)

You knew the one I was thinking of! 8)

Fantastic sounding thing that six cylinder howl. I've heard the E63 AMG race car as well, it is pretty good. And the grand daddy of them all, the F1 GTR. It just sounds awesome power sliding out of a corner with a 911 GT1 flickering flames out of its exhausts as the pair of them drag race out of Arnage corner. You can't even hear the Porsche, just the howl of the F1. 8)

Back to bike programming...

I'm going to change the bars on my giant as well eventually, so yours has given me some ideas. Mine is just down to 7.6kg with its standard PSL0 wheels and a Garmin 800 at the front.
