You'll still have trouble without every other component.

And once it is all built you'll still have trouble seeing any improvement...

It's not that bad. They've just used one of those crappy quill adapters. It actually has a threaded headset installed.

Anybody know anything about Ramondo bikes? Google seems to think they were built in Adelaide. The stem shifters, suicide levers and bolt on hanger don't fill me with confidence so it's probably just a Hi-ten beater only worth a pineapple. It looks like it's made for touring though with the long chainstays, relaxed geometry and the downtube pump pegs. I'm looking for something reasonably decent of the genre to rebuild for commuting duties, as I'm getting sick of breaking modern alloy frames.

That plus the 30% riser = disaster in my eyes

It looks like cheap crap and too small for you. I'll keep an eye out for a better quality 58cm frame (provided it's not one I want  ).

That's nice (apart from the unattractive stem setup obviously), especially with full SunTour GPX, it's good stuff.

Aye, I was more wondering if they did anything decent. Thanks for keeping your eyes open for me.

yeah, Durban? Never heard of 'em and Google turned up nothing. Columbus dropouts, lugged brake bridge, flawlessly finished lugs and a nice paint job. Maybe custom :?:

It's the white sticker just at the bottom of the seat tube, you can see it on those pictures.

I gotta an Evolution, in Columbus EL. Coke Can fork, though. Has the funny 'E' on wheels logo on the headtube, and the same script on the DT. Wish it had the "Made by Ken & Paul..." sticker though. Still, life goes on.
