Classic Australian made frame for the larger gent. Good buy.
Europa Cycles was started by Ezio and his son John Abeni in the early 70s.Ezio Abeni was a master frame builder in Itay and once moving to Australia showed his skills in Australia to produce the early ABENI and Europa road and track frames.

Yep, that one's in here already a few pages back. It's been up for many months now and the guy still hasn't worked out that a pair of snapped forks is a great way to put people off  .

Any ideas on what model this is? Mentions Exage, so I guess 80-90s low-mid range bike?

A Giant Innova, with what looks like RSX cranks. The rest, I cant tell, but I do know that it aint worth $240, esp if its supposedly running Exage.

Anyway, this bike looks interesting. What sort of crank/groupset would this be? Looks like somesort of Suntour.

Shogun Team Issue, Tange Prestige Frame, converted to single speed but still with a 7 speed rear wheel. Looks to be in good nick, but too small for me, would love one of these in 60cm.

That's beautiful. Swoon.
A bit of digging and I turned up this thread discussing another Santa Lucia in Brisvegas, OP says that they are 'rumoured' to have been built by Hoffy.
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=12923&p=176145&hil ... ia#p176145" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also turned up another thread where an unmarked frame was thought to be a Santa Lucia, only to be shot down by the original frame builder!
"Just had a look at his... I can confirm that it is not a Santa Lucia Frame as my Dad and I built all the Santa Lucia bike basi int he 70's and 80's. Looks good though..

Keep the bike rolling!

Holy moly.
He is selling a pretty sweet pond yacht however. Go get that Yacht, bring your favourite bicycle with you, and let him ride it - the poor bugger must think cycling is the most difficult thing in the world and probably would benefit from riding a real bike.

Did anyone pick up the yellow Jim Bundy running 7400 from up in Tweeds Head? It was only $200 as well.

 Bloody hell

Bob Jackson Tandem

I'm lucky this isn't a touring tandem or I'd be spewing. It would even fit us both better than the Dawes, with 60cm seat tubes. This might be the same tandem I spotted on bike exchange about a year ago, it was advertised by the blind stoker who had owned it since new. He was asking $500. The view counter told me I was the third person to see the ad, but by the time I shot off an email it was already sold. I expected it to turn up again on eBay at some point, this *might* be it but the ad claims that it has been in the family since new. Still, seems a long stretch that there would be two custom built orange Bob Jackson tandems in Victoria...

Also, in the spirit of tandem fun...Come on, $160, Somebody in WA give this a home!

$2K for a pursuit track frame of unknown origin with half the bits missing? Seems a bit rich but maybe someone knows enough about these to identify whether it's worth the price tag? Not at all interested in buying, just curious.
