Damn fine day for riverloop with some excellent company, good to see some new faces, although i'm developing a serious case of bike envy with the sweet looking machines on display!
A bonus at this time of year is that with the female joggers emerging from hibernation, there is plenty of eye candy on the ride...

Did my longest ride sofar, with 107km although strava didn't capture about 1.5km due to me turning the timer off on the gamin while taking a comfort stop at the park down at Thornside. With doing rides this long i really need to whip out the sunscreen, although i gotta keep those tanlines razor sharp.

Saw a nice steel Olmo parked outside a cafe at West End this morning. Would any of you River Loopers happen to know the owner?

Hey great ride guys, good to meet a few new faces.
If the olmo was big say 59 and champagne kind of colour with white blue benotto tape it would be a mate of mine

Good ride this morning. Thanks Gents. G'day Dayne and Dubrat.
Had my first nasi goreng at Wrapture, and it was. Wazza has been under selling it.
Dan, Wazza did interval training today for Mont V-something. He is ready for hills next week.

+1 for an eastern reverse loop although a < 50km ride will be a novelty...

Meeting at Browning St, West End tomorrow then leaving at 6:30am sharp gents. No KSD though if we can help it please.

Will be nice to use the bitumen going uphill along Wynnum Rd at Norman Park in lieu of the teeth rattler of a footpath that i use (as the traffic is diabolical and a bike is still faster than the cars) on my commutes home from work. Oh, and there's the Hawthorne Rd to Oxford St segment that i really want to get the KOM for, although i'll need to shave a minute off my present PR over 2.5km in order to move up from number 2. Wazza is sitting at 8th place, while Dan is on 12th

Instead of KSD- Schneider Rd, Lamington Ave, Lancaster Ave and Hamilton Hill

What way are you after the kom? From oxord st to wynumm or from wynumm to oxford?
I may be out for a ride in the morning but will take the carbon for a spin as i just got the wheels back.

Hey! It's legit, there is *some* uphill and also cross country stuff mixed in too for that segment. As for doing a reverse of that one? No thank you.
Dan wrote:You're still to topple the original segment chaser...
While i shaved 27 seconds off my former PR, I was thwarted in grabbing the KOM by a dumb couple with their mutt off the leash at the exit point of the cross country portion of the segment. That's my excuse and i'm sticking with it.
