New road bike for Mrs Waka

Trying to sell Pams current Dolce, but after a another chat a she decided she would still like a road bike in the stable, her Dolce turns out to be just to small, (a recent bike fit,who did not charge us, said he was flogging a dead horse.)
I have 4 ideas floating around.
1. Buy a china frame (struggling with finding a female frame though) transfer everything over (Tiagra 4600, compact 500k's max)
2. Giant Avail Composite 3, mostly Tiagra just Tektro brake calipers. $1400 (2013)
3. Giant Avail Advanced 2 105 $2000 (2013)
4. Giant TCR w Sram Force $2000 (2012)

Mrs Waka is a small/medium cross over. Had Pam sat on an Avail using a turbo trainer, she would need a slightly larger stem for sure, another 10mm. She, to me still looked bunched up.. Fitter said could possibly go up another size but it might take some of her stability away when being passed by large road vehicles.

Any ideas or pointers? I will be heading to Brisbane as they have shops open on a Sunday, the only day we get together...

Whats the top tube length that has been recommended? Where is the arm measurement taken from? I do look funny trying to measure myself!!

I'm 169cm and don't have real long legs for a woman, and comfortably ride a "man's" frame. My 2007 Scott CR1 was a small (53 TT with 110 stem) but I have just bought a replacement with a 54 TT and 100 stem. Frame arrived today and is yet to be built, but all the calculations worked out!! In the brand I bought (Time), I could have ridden an XS or a S. The XS had the same TT as my Scott so I would have needed a 110 stem again.

I suppose what I'm thinking is that there may be no reason she needs a women's specifc frame, and should try whatever. For me, it's all about reach and saddle height. I'd suggest she try a few.

Followed it to the T and used a spirit level and everything, so ignore the former measurements.

thigh 56
lowerleg 52
sternum 140
total 168

The eddy fit would be:
CC 52.7-53.2
CT 54.3-54.8
TT 51.6-52

I have also considered the Defy and CR1 for her, hopefully get to try them out Sunday, yay for demo shops..

Also looked at Giant Envie, a close second. The avail was not suited to Pam's build, she has a long torso, for a girl!

Generalisations on bike fit between men and women just don't really work. I must have similar dimensions as I've been cramped on a women's fit before.

First ride out, 2nd time in the area with some unchartered roads for us both and still not clipped in, wearing trainers with upside down SPDSL pedals...
