Good looking mountain bike shoes

Postby mikesbytes » Fri Sep 20, 2013 9:34 am

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, however its getting close to the time for me to put my well worn Red Sidi Dragon2's to rest and buy a new pair of mountain bike shoes.

So what's hot in the market?

I'm impressed. Do they offer them in black?

Yes they do come in black and I have to confess that I've considered buying them. They aren't suitable for the purpose I have this thread for, but they would be nice in some situations

I am keen on trying these... better to run in, but the lack of sprigs / deep tread might an issue.

Haha! Good looking is in the eye of the MTB'er. They remind me of rap singers.

Mmm.. I need to start a thread on a non-racer-boi-looking shoe that has the road triple bolt pattern.

They remind me of the Caterpillar/CAT clothing brand ripping off the toughness of big hydraulics and diesel.... i.e. so these shoes are 3rd, at best 2nd gen wannabe tough looking.

Only the top of the line models in each range are all yellow in Mavic Mike. I have the huez road ones... took a week or so to get used to after 5 years with custom fit Shimano's. But they are comfy as bro these days.
