What a shame I was the last post on the previous page instead of the first post on this one

Mrs Waka's (Pam)new steed.
A bit overkill for someone still never clipped in! A complete leap from a Dolce with suicide brakes. But upgradeitis is hopefully fixed for ever, unfortunately colour co-orditnation is not!
New bottles and cages, rear light , blue silicone cover for Garmin in online basket and a hmmm, over matching helmets with a hint of blue! Catlike Kompact winning at the moment!

Nice one Mrs Waka. I'm sure you'll get years of comfort from this.

There's nothing wrong with colour coordination!!

That's a big change in the drop from saddle to the bars.

20mm more drop. Went narrower bars to 42cm on the advice of Kane at my fit and went with more drop to see if I like it. A -6 stem will make it almost identical if the -14 is to steep

Thanks.

Looks even nicer in the sun with the clear over UD carbon finish. Out of everything i need to sell i didn't want the R3 to sell but I cant ride 5 bikes at once and the $$ is going toward upgrades :)

I'd have a cervelo if they made a frame with a horizontal top tube.

Though i'd post my three bikes.
I know this is not an MTB forum but its just one pic of the DH bike that is out of place.

My Venge.

My Epic 29er.

And my demo 8, Probably the most valuble (to me anyway) as the frame has a custom super slack head angle and was ridden in a world cup in 2010 by the specialized/monster energy team.

Nothing wrong with posting those three bikes here in the general forum - they be bikes & nice ones at that. Demo 8 could do with a clean unless that was the look you were going for :)

Ah ok thats good, just wasn't sure cos people probably wouldn't be interested in them much.

Thats an old pic from the dust. It's still muddy at the moment because of all the rain we have been having in Perth and im lazy.

more importantly, unless it should be posted in the "ugly bikes" thread... (which none should)

It's very nice! 8)

I only changed the stem on my Giant for a 90mm carbon job. Much prefer the slightly shorter stem:

Image

If that's not the bulkiest stem in the world, I don't know what is. I was initially going to put FSA Plasma Black/white/green bars on it since they match the scheme of the bike perfectly, but the $600+ cost put me off that.
