That's an impressive effort Colin. Best of luck cracking the 8000, that's tough enough with 2 wheels!

Celeste boy, with the fine weather we're getting you should be able to reel that triangle (well I guess it's a line these days) in no time.

Fine weather! Talk to Dave about the wind up here. Although I did my second best time along Sallys Corner Road tonight. ON the SS MTB in the dark!

Not to worry Mustang, you still show up on my PC as being in the brown - is that sufficient encouragement for you to get out and ride the 68km you are behind ? :D

I see you managed to ride in the wind today, would have to have been the worst it's been! I got down to single digits on the flat facing it on the ride home today.

The wind was stupid today. I was just glad there was none at 2.30am when I rode from work.

A huuge latte and one of those big-arse muffins mate - then climb 5000m, as suggested by kb...hahaha.

(BTW kb - just saw your ascending figure for the year - very impressive!)

Great efforts everyone - keep it up!

I thought kb was a hard task master until I read Macca's post :D The biggest "hill" near me is all of 21m. Hill repeats are a very fine thing, not sure I could bring myself to do 238 of em

Mustang I like cappuccinos, not sure I could drink 3 in a row though

Took advantage of a rare clear day and did 55km this morning. If I didn't have to rush back to watch the Dockers I would have kept on until I had ridden my age. :(

Another month has passed so time for reflection, and all in all September has been a very good month, 1254km long by 14977m high (I was almost tempted to go out and ride up the driveway for the extra 3m). My biggest monthly climbing tally ever and all part of my cunning plan for the big ride in November :)

Good stuff Grant.

My month was less than stellar. 797km with 10112m of ascent. Hopefully this will be rectified in October with some bigger rides scheduled for later in the month. Assuming my ankle and knee get better. :(
