Hello Ray, nice to make your aquaintance. Do you happen to know Jennay by any chance?

edit: Brompton folder. As the seller points out:
Sick of your single speed or fixie and looking to one-up the latte sipping hipsters in your neighbourhood? Well this bike is for you....

$150 brand new from KMart, probably less than $100 during sales. The price of rust is literally going up.

I like the sound of "change up change down seperate levers", but am a bit concerned at the rusty front hub, non-drive crank arm & 2nd & 3rd gears being described as accessories.

Needs more lens flare and foreign language letters to get that sort of money though

Sweet CAAD3 MTB with full XTR but rather pricey.
Impressive paintwork on this old beauty, pity it's probably been pranged though.
I don't remember these in BMX Bandits!
Fancy some Campy or Arabesque bling anyone?

Bah.

Somebody BIN-ed it overnight.

I'll have to find something else to hang my spare bits off instead.

You can't just turn up on it one day - you need to ride one 500 or a thousand km just to start getting a nice circular pedalling motion and avoid undue hilarity about the rider rather than the bike. But there are a reasonable number of them come past. I remember when Wazza got that one and rode it to work in about late 2007 - it was what got me looking out for them. He was always a tiny bit too tall for it, and envied the extended seatclamp that I got (which are like hens' teeth). I had a couple of Softrides but sold one because I didn't ride them enough. There's not a great deal visually to pick between different Softride frame sizes (you can't just look at the gap between down and top tubes at the head tube), but for me at 6'1.5" and 100kg, my best seat height measurement is that the back bottom of the uncompressed beam needs to be 30cm from a rear 23mm tyre with a standard seat clamp and an SRS520 or SRS530 beam (230 or 240 pounds rider weight - the SRS510 beam is for littler people). That purple bike he bought from a girl IIRC. The frame was in nice condition when he got it and he always treats them better than most (better than me).

I have no idea what these are worth, but if you're looking for a retro frame or fixie this could help! I have no room or time... N+1 on hold, till one sold

That paint job looks like the product of a bad shroom trip and 6 months sitting in the sun. I'd rather keep the peanuts

Me neither but they sit nicely inbetween 'gas pipe - avoid at all costs' and 'too nice to change from original'. I wouldnt pass it up at that price but much more than that and im walking away unless its really clean.

Hey, I own a Superlite! But those late 80s paint jobs can be nasty. Occasionally though they can be very good...

Well all the stars aligned for me with Shogun 1 mentioned above. I was due in Wodonga the day before bidding closed so packed some tools, a couple spare tyres, put in a bid and picked up a bargain which has given me a bike to ride while I'm here :D . Serviced the hubs, replaced a broken spoke, new tyres and it's quite a nice bike in my size. Bottom bracket and headset feel very rough, but will have to do until I get home. About 100km done on it over the last 2 days.

Who wouldn't want a Speedo like this on their bike?!!
Apollo Concorde with not your average paint scheme.
Very clean looking Repco Victory Tri-A.
Apparently braking is optional.
