Seems to be missing something shifty to me...

If I was building a custom disc braked FG bike I'd be right onto them.

Then go for it.

MichaelB ran TRP discs off a Parabox on his roadie, look for his thread in the shed.

DT shifters, Brake levers, and other parts coming.

Will also settle for this temporary calipers while still deciding mechanical vs hydraulic. I will put this on my wife's bike, if ever there is a need for upgrade.
Image

Have also settled for this purely based on review, colour is grey. Can't seem to justify CK for my commute.
Image

I have some excess 7700 RD, Red FD, Rival Cranks, and Ritchey Stem+Drop Bar too. Trying to keep the cost down as the ministry of finance is not happy with this build. All money spent so far comes from items I sold here in BNA and eBay. If I am not lucky to sell the 3 wheelsets I have, I may not have enough money to get the wheelset I want :(

All photos are from Wiggle btw.

I have those Cane Creek levers on my SS roadie.

They are pretty good.

I have chosen them purely for the good looks. If they are good, then that is a huge bonus. I may need to order another one for my other bike too!

I have been advised by Porter the the frame/fork is now ready for shipping. Josh will need to hurry up in building my wheels, oh I need to decide which one first!

I am not so impressed with the calipers :(

Thanks. I thought the fork will look horrible but looking at it is not too bad at all.

Any idea on mm fork to crown and the rake on that thing?

Yeah, can't wait to see those wheels.
I am more inclined to use this on road and have chosen a road-like fork with dics tab. I have a new carbon fork that I can use if I decided to use this for CX adventure. This is also one of the main reason why the T-T is not horizontal - the slight slope might save my balls if ever I will try it in CX rides.
I think the max size of tyre I can use is 28C.
Axle to Crown is only 367.5 mm
Rake is 43 mm
Here is the close-up of the clearance:

Anyone here have tried the TRP HYRD?

Wish they'd fit my budget, need new commute wheels and Josh is the man for the job.

Have to sell 2 x Carbon Wheelset and 1 Reynolds wheelset to get this new set. I hope to sell some more to finish it,

Nice looking wheels too.

My mate got his TRP hydro cable disc calipers the other day. He just needs to pull his finger out and set them up.

When he stops playing with his Fatbike :D

The hyd TRP hydro brake calipers are pretty good, I had them hooked up originally onto my monstercrosser but decided to fit them to my Norco Threshhold. They brake pretty good and pull up quick. Take a little bit to set up and to bed in, but a lot quieter than the BB7's and a bit more pricier, i got mine through Bikeman as they were a little cheaper than what they were through TRP. Yet to try them off road but on the road they seem to pull up pretty well.

cheers
