Kent Street cycle path is currently blocked at the Kent Street/Margaret Street junction due to works connected with the Barangaroo development. The closure is expected to last for a couple of months- see here and here for details.
Lots of hi-vis vested people are standing around here every morning making sure that cyclists dismount entirely and push their bikes across the ped crossing and past the closed bit of cycleway. However they seem uninterested in the many pedestrians who continue to cross the roads against a red light.
Another example of cyclists coming last - imagine the outcry if they'd closed the road alongside to cars at the same time.

As they haven't closed the road, I know where I would be riding
It doesn't get easier, you just get slower
