yeh i saw that one the other dayg-boaf wrote:I don't have a photo, but the Trek Speed Concept in the window of Clarence Street Cyclery at the moment looks damn good. Black with stealthy outline logos and Zipps on it.
pretty sure its a speed concept 9.9 and had the $11,000AUD price tag on it. For some reason had the old discontinued 1080 Zippies on it
Your next bike G-boaf!
The red S-Works Shiv TT in the Specialized JET cycles few hundred meters up the road looks good too.

I do like the Trek more. I don't need one though. Don't have the dollars to drop on one either.

i think its mainly the red and white colour that lets down the Shiv. THe trek looks beefy with the plastic Draft pack at the backg-boaf wrote:Yeah, saw that a few times already. No, no no... I think the 2014 model of Speed Concept range is out.
funny thing is... every manufacturer seems to bring out "the fastest bike in the world" or the "most aerodynamic"
in races theres only room for no#1 but i guess not in bike models and manufacturers

The road to hell is paved with good intentions: despite yours you've just created another ugly bike thread. It went to hell in a handbasket after post #4.The 2nd Womble wrote:Instead of sabotaging the Ugly Bike thread I thought this would work a little better.

The red doesn't do it favours - but I do look at the Shiv with a rather envious eye. they look much better in black.DoubleSpeeded wrote: i think its mainly the red and white colour that lets down the Shiv. THe trek looks beefy with the plastic Draft pack at the back

I was looking at one of them what's your opinion on the brakes at the rear?nsr0772 wrote:I know this one is very subjective but I just got one and it is the nicest bike I have ever ridden, and I've ridden a few. Its a cookie cutter frame with average components but rides so well and i think the paint scheme is horn.

Here's a nomination I snapped at the Audax Alpine in Bright in 2012. A steel framed beauty from Independent Fabrications.
