Spot on, my Kona Dewdrop falls into the same category. :D

I'll throw this in as well, the pic does not do this bike justice.

That's lovely! But I do wonder, how will they hold up? Would laser cut lugs stand up to the forces a bike frame is subjected to? It's unlikely that they were work hardened in the process.

I'm really not sure what is so odd about a diamond-frame single speed bike with drop bars  ???

Bog standard bike really, what I cut my teenage cycling teeth on (metaphorically speaking).

On a positive note, things I like are single-colour paint schemes, straight-ish frame tubes (no curves or bumps), semi-compact geometry (slightly sloping top-tube) and wheels with shiny spokes and hubs and minimal (or no) aero .... and preferably no or minimal stickers/labels.

Bloody awful photo, but I like my bike. It's teh best teh iPad can do at present. Copped a bit of flak from the Velominati for my Rule Violations, but too bad, it's set up for night training rides, not for coffee shop posing.

Possibly with a bit more bulk in some of the tubes .... it's a bit 'skinny', being steel and all. :)

Not talking about beauty there, I was questioning the concept of odd. It doesn't seem very "odd" at all to me (and most people I'd expect) for a bike to have a diamond frame and drop bars.

Beauty on the other hand, that's a different thing, and very much up to the beholder.

I think the 2014 model of Speed Concept range is out.

funny thing is... every manufacturer seems to bring out "the fastest bike in the world" or the "most aerodynamic"

in races theres only room for no#1 but i guess not in bike models and manufacturers
The red doesn't do it favours - but I do look at the Shiv with a rather envious eye. ;) they look much better in black.

Like some people appreciate fast cars, I do the same with bikes. :)
hmmm still cant decide whether the S-works looks better than the Trek
