Did you guys happen to notice how small the hole is? If you actually tried using this with a Woods/Dunlop valve, you'd have a very difficult time.human909 wrote:It is this.Leiothrix wrote:If that's from a puncture repair kit it is for a dunlop valve.

I don't know what it is, but I can tell you that it isn't from a tyre valve.

Thought that before but saying that with all this dodgy Chinese stuff around.Dragster1 wrote:yep! but the hole looks a bit small but you never knowLeiothrix wrote:If that's from a puncture repair kit it is for a dunlop valve.
I bought some nylon oil pressure line straight out of a sealed packet for the car and when I got home to fit it, it had no hole in it like whipper snipper cable LOL!.
Im leaning toward fine electrical cable insulation off cut or some type of fine spring dampner where it slips over the end of the tang. But im only guessing in this case.

I might just go and stare at everything outside to try and figure out what it comes from.

Have you tried going for a ride to find out what doesn't work? Remember to test the brakes before you take off.eeksll wrote:Hello shed-ites ... been messing around with my bikes and found this on the ground, is it a bike part (thinking a campag chorus shifter)?
Its a small soft rubber part.

If I were to do a brake or gear service on a bike and then find small plastic or rubber parts on the ground... I wouldn't even flinch.
