Nice... Now you make sure that upgraditis doesn't get a real good hold of you.
Cos you've only just scratched the surface.
Enjoy!

Are they easy to use? I like the concept but think it'll be tricky trying to get it close enough for the magnets to take over. Whereas with a traditional cage, the 'contact' area is a lot bigger and harder to miss... No?Dimma wrote:Cages are already fitted.

Ah good - welcome to the dark side. You'll get the upgrade bug like I did. Very nice.dmwill wrote:I thought I had too much steerer sticking out.
Having spent the last 10 odd years with mountain bikes, I wanted something a bit more practical for general fitness and long rides, so I got 2014 Defy1 a few months back.
Upgrade bug did not take long;
-105 brakes, cassette and pedals (all upgraded from no-name/non-series stuff)
-Selle SLX Saddle (Giant one was rubbish)
-Schwalbe Ultremo Tyres
That's a lovely bike.

Yeah, pretty foolproof. Replacement bottles can be hard to source though.Dimma wrote:Never had a problem with them they just get pulled straight on when in range, very secure.
Most rides I don't bother with water at all, so the bike looks cleaner.

Apologies for breaking every rule of bike photography, but I just picked this up today and was too excited to wait to take a proper photo...
I've had the frame for a few months, but only recently acquired the last of the components.
