10K PLUS club 2013

Limping towards 15k, had some drama today on a ride I'd organized which was unfortunate for those involved especially but the entire ride broke down as well.

Looks expensive! ... big boy to be riding those wheels, lucky nothing too serious.
I am also hoping to limp towards 15k, but I think it will only be 14 if I am lucky this year!

good work guys. i just hit 11k. was off the bike for 2 months, am about to take a 1 month break so 15k target will not happen. hoping to lay down some decent km when i return - will need to be in shape for Tour of Bright.

Just hit the 10 000kms today!!! Not bad considering I started recording my rides mid February. 6000 on the roadie, 3000 on the flatbar an 1000 mtb

Took a while, but I managed to make the 10k club today, despite the ridiculous wind.

I've done 11k since taking up riding one year and one week ago and have had a ball doing it!

Hi all,

Yesterday I posted a milestone of sorts not that anyone measures miles much anymore... 100,000 miles in 9 years on 10 different bikes (including 2 hire bicycles).

Gosh, what a collapse for me. Don't crash twice in 3 months, great way to stuff up your riding. (we'll leave the repair bill out of the equation)

Well done Jason, that is a mamoth effort, you should get somewhere around 16,000 done for the year I would think!

A quick update from me, all fractures are now healed, the one in the middle of my collar bone is taking slightly longer than the other ones, so now it is full on into Physio to get as much range of movement back into the shoulder and elbow, very fortunate that the radius healed, and to also get some strength back in my arm.
I can get my hands onto the hoods and down into the drops while on the wind trainer, despite still not being able to fully extend my right arm, 6 weeks in the sling has caused a few contractures.
Eta for being back on the road/path is maybe 2-3 weeks time.
Totally over it all, can't wait to be back on the bike ( out of a wind trainer that is!)
