If anyone spots anything bloody tiny in Victoria, give me a shout. I'm trying to find a bike for a friend who is 152cm, it's been over a month and I'm getting frantic. We're talking smaller than 52cm, possibly all that I'm going to find in that size is a mixte, which she would prefer anyway.
I just missed out on this Nishiki Custom Sport Mixte, considering that it was a wee bit big and we would have had to bury money into making it fit, I only bid to $140...

Also searching for another bicycle, around 56/57cm square, just something that will make a good base for a daily rider. If ya spot anything...

Ok... so even if this photo is rotated 90 deg (note the brick wall at the bottom) - I still can't work out how all these P.O.S. frames are balanced together.

Ok I got the photo rotated and think it's like this

yellow bike is the highest and the blue frame is hooked into the yellow frame. There is a cable hanging the blue/pink frame. The bottom one might be resting on something not in picture

Can't help with tiny, sorry.
Got an Apollo eclipse in need of some work, a crankset and a home, 52ST, 57 TT if that helps.

Calling lug nut!

Smaller wheels may make the difference. The front tyre at least looks to be a 597 BSD http://sheldonbrown.com/26.html However you might be able to put 650B wheels on it. (I wonder if the advertised tyres actually fit?) I notice that there is a lot of travel available in the brake callipers. So all you'd need to do is replace the wheels, running gear, brake levers...

or get this View item

Cheers,

Cameron

The Ken and the below the line Miyata look like good deals (what would I know - I'm obsessed..) The above the line Miyata seller (victa98) has a disturbing number of old lawnmowers for sale as well. Reminds me of a demented friend who collected tractor sprinklers.

Legnano? Looks like it has some long 1010s on the back. It's in Mornington, which would explain the rust...

Wish I was in Melbourne :x , the frame looks like a clunker, but the front hub looks like a Prior (or similar). I have a Prior rear I'd like to match with a front some day.

EDIT: actually looks like the flange is rivetted onto an alloy barrel, so not I'm sure what the hub is?

Feedback & his response thereto indicates the seller thinks he can walk away from an auction if it doesn't sell for enough

$50 Shogun Sport frame. It looks familiar. Was this listed up a little bit back?

my dealings with him were less than favourable. didn't return calls/emails/texts, then threatened legal action for harassment. i was asking for a pickup time on behalf of an interstate buyer. that's it. jerk.
presumably wouldn't sell because winning bid was low.

Something NQR going on there.

The guy knows some jargon and has a work stand. So he's not clueless.

And yet, he's selling a classic frame at a price that could only be explained by cluelessness.

What's with that?
