Has anyone got any pics of the last one, what sorts of bikes do people bring, and how is it set up?

I'm keen to go and will keep a look out. I've never "shown" any of my bikes before and would probably like to, so i'm trying to get an idea of what i would need to bring. I'm guessing stands to hold them up, etc...
Might be good if those that have done this before, could give out some tips of what to take, etc for the newbs like myself.

Yes, it'd be great if you brought your own stand. If you watch the video there was one guy who had this super elaborate chromed stand which was only rivalled by his magnificent bike. However if you dont have one, we were supplying stands with a returnable $20 deposit. Not sure if we are doing these loan stands again in 2014. Also bring cable ties to secure anything of value down - it wasnt a problem at the last one but good to take precautions. Get hold of a large brimmed hat and bring lots of sun screen. Also bring lots of cash - lots of bargain at the various swap stalls. We had about 13 vintage bike/parts sellers at the last event. We expect many more in 2014.utedeej wrote: I'm keen to go and will keep a look out. I assume you are referring to the Sunday retro ride. This is held the day AFTER the actual bicycle show.
We plan to ride from the Canterbury Velodrome in Tempe, along the Cooks River cycle way and head off toward the Sydney Olympic Park. A very leisurely 50km round trip along the very sedate cycle path. Not sure what time we start off, but my guess would be around 9 or 10am on Sunday. Details to come later.
