to buy or not to buy.

Hi folks ,

Looking at a carbon/alloy fork for my single speed mtb on flea bay.
Sellers says its never been crashed but there seems to be some scuff marks and what look likes a gough.
Now before I get howled at for buying second hand carbon bits without inspecting , just want you opinions on it.

tbh, I'd just buy the alloy version of the same fork brand new for $60 or so. (i've got the Mosso on my mtb) I wouldn't trust a cheap used carbon fork with cosmetic damage.
