"happy to deliver for a bottle of red "
Also, that 650b mtb is nice, shame it's a little low quality and a plain colour, or I'd be retiring the Rockhopper in Castlemaine and rolling on Hetres instead.
That 64cm Keith Davis Touring bike dropped $1200, went from ludicrously expensive to a good deal?
Pick of the day, an Orange Clockwork SS MTB with Middleburn cranks going for a good price in SA.

A very clean 80's Giant Road Bike, with a size 9 pair of Shimano 600 Tri Colour shoes. One for the Tri Colour aficionado

I've got my tall mate up in Darwin onto this. His Rohloff/Salsa Casseroll was stolen not long ago. Not sure if he sees the value in this one though...LugNut wrote:

Large Paconi roadie with 600 Tri Colour. I'm glad I just bought a beautiful road bike, or I might've agonised over this one. Blue Turbo saddle!

I am now curious as to how the grip shifts got past the bend in the bars & am scared that it might have involved cuttingim_no_pro wrote:Its not every day you see a roadie with grip shifts!

I'm seeing some sort of shim/spacer thing on the inside of the left shifter, don't know what it is but it looks weird. Danger will robinson!find_bruce wrote:I am now curious as to how the grip shifts got past the bend in the bars & am scared that it might have involved cuttingim_no_pro wrote:Its not every day you see a roadie with grip shifts!

Maybe they're some sort of super fancy Gilles Berthoud Shimano Altus shifters.im_no_pro wrote:Its not every day you see a roadie with grip shifts!
By the way; Bike Friday bars are cut and then an inner sleeve is added so that the bar can be disassembled. Looks like the inner is bonded in somehow...

Somebody has to recognise that fork crown. It's no Cinelli (I think??? I stick to the Japanese stuff) but there's some clean 600 Tri Colour hanging on it.

This model Giant had special handlebars to accommodate the Gripshift. The middle part of the bar went into the stem, then the shifters and outside parts of the handlebars clamped into the middle part, using something akin to a seat clamp. I worked on them way back, cant remember any problems with them, except for the fact that I didnt like the design of Gripshift shifters anyway.ldrcycles wrote:I'm seeing some sort of shim/spacer thing on the inside of the left shifter, don't know what it is but it looks weird. The price to ship a tandem would probably defer many more!Clydesdale Scot wrote:Vintage Campagnolo Cinelli Laser Track Tandem

Might be cheaper to fly to Italy, pick up in person and accompanied-baggage it home.
Can you do mad skidz on a fixie tandem?
