This one's got me stumped! Ground Breaker stickers on an Alpine GT? Everything looks completely original, but that makes no sense...
It's pretty nice anyway.
Looks like a flat to drop conversion of a hybrid to me. I wonder how well the front shifting works, it'd probably be a pain if it had to be adjusted.

Here is a flat version:

The back brake cable looks like it maybe rubs on the rack too.

It must have been sold as a tourer - there is a full set of guard and rack mounts scattered over the bike.

I saw it and thought it was pretty cool (it is), but local pickup and not needing it ruled me out. Nice bike though!

If I were ever going to own a Track Bike...

$70 funky Univega in Queensland.

Small Kuwahara Road bike in WA.

This unidentified Road Bike looks good, it has mid-upper lever Suntour Blue Line components. And apparently it comes with stamps!

Anyone in the Brisbane area?
Rusty old 60cm frame but with very good Suntour and Cinelli parts.

BTW, just bought myself another pair of 1960s anondised Weinmann brake levers, this time from South Australia.

That paint scheme sure stands out :) .

The Bridgestone looks a reasonable price too.

"cheap Columbus frame MBK Super Record"

Plenty of MBK Distain online…..."According to Robert Millar - stood for Made By Klingons as they were such a dog to ride. ....Only high end bike I know of from them is the Cofidis replicas.....Now owned by Yamaha and synonymous with heavy, excessively stiff and essentially nasty town bikes. You won't be able to buy them at my shop. ….Was Motobecane, then got bought out and became MBK"

=>> looks like a 25" frame....What are MBK really like to ride? French...so BB non standard?

Buy of the month - $40, Reynolds 531, outlined Nervex "butt joints" :P , I don't know anything about those blue coloured brake levers but I'm sure somebody does. 60s? Paintwork looks to be in surprisingly good condition and the frame is really nicely made.
Cheap as chips
Anybody near Warrnambool?

That's a nice midgets bike :D

It certainly nicely made with some good gear on it.

I love how sellers say, "tyres hold air" like that's a consideration to people looking at bikes like these.

Been looking for a Gazelle recently and found this....
This guy is such an optimist
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Gazelle-vint ... 3f2b0b8163

Asking a huge price while admitting to a dent and posting no pictures worth looking at. (although more are coming 'later')
The one picture he does post shows that the badge rivets have been drilled out so ' the 'excellent paint job' is a respray and re-sticker (hopefully of a Gazelle frame) not mentioned in the description.
Won't be buying this one...
