Ugly Bikes

I find 90% of TT bikes ugly. That's just me.

But perhaps no TT bike anywhere is quite as offensive as this nasty little booger

What a great find! Pays homage to almost everything bike, but fails on so many levels that it's ....ugly, impractical and oh so silly.

They look to perch on there ring gear.

It does look that way. Probably on their perineum, but either way not good for you.

For that very reason there are MTB saddles made with a big wide flat nose. Steep rocky climbs on a MTB demand the same type of 'nose-in-the-ring' seating position

Thats pretty clever with the integrated hydration.

I've been wondering since I first saw that new frame with the internal bladder thing, how do you get it out if it springs a leak or needs cleaning?

And whether TT or Tri, bikes with aerobars need deep dish wheels to look "right" to me

im sure the guys at Specialized would've had that in mind and designed something that shouldn't leak.
The flexible drink hose that runs into the frame, im assuming the join is something simple and can be accessed via the filler cap area.

yea without deep dish, the frame looks out of place as its real thick-looking.

but disc looks the best.. as you can see the Super 9 on the black s-works

Something of a topic resurrection, but the hydration system is a fully removable bladder. Taller and thinner than a Camelback, but same thing. Fully removable for cleaning/drying (or when not needed).

Works well for long course racing.

Like the idea of bent beech BUT it won't set me back $70K. Bent beech should stay as furniture.

I see what you mean , it is too easy to get hurt sliding down the banister. I reckon I have fixed it with a cushion....

That's a Tri bike, not a TT bike.

Which further validates its existence in this thread.

Awwwww.... There are *some* nice Tri-specific bikes out there. And it's hard to be pretty with Tri geometry - although in the case of this bike they really didn't make an effort.

I am confused now, Why does the manufacturer say it is a TT with tri geometry
