i recall you threatening legal action against the forum for one of its members 'defaming' you regarding an allegedly damaged bike you had for sale, yet it turns out the bike you were trying to sell really was damaged.

fwiw, if you want to buy a bike from victa98, go ahead - i've bought one from him myself with little trouble, and thought he was pleasant enough.

however, when another auction didn't swing his way, and i tried to pickup and pay for a bike for a friend, he got all stroppy and threatened to call the police if i didn't stop harrassing him.

i asked for a pickup time. three times. via email. pleasantly.

as i said the first time, it's all fun and games until someone doesn't get the price he wants.

I was under the impression that unlike the Vitus frames, ALAN frames are screwed, then glued, therefore less likely to have a catastrophic failure.

Any carbon, aluminium or steel bike can fail, by your reasoning you should ride only brand new bikes once then throw them in the bin.

I think I read that munga had had the frame repaired, he possibly should have had all the joints re-glued, but to damn every glued bike ever built because they may fail in my opinion is going way over the top.

He has/had the capacity to use posts that are readable when he wants.
When I see garbled rubbish, I ignore it. If it is repeated I place the author on the 'User Control Panel'> 'Friends and Foes'> 'Manage Foes' and his posts are not displayed.
