BSA coaster hub

Postby Roinik » Sat Nov 02, 2013 11:30 pm

I've just pulled apart my old BSA coaster brake hub and she's looking on the average side of things. Whilst I can live with the scores in the hub bore, the little brass engagement carrier/freewheel with the engagement fingers/pawls is looking like it's gone 9 rounds with Mike Tyson and he's been hungry. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for this brass piece or have an entire hub they'd be willing to part with? I'd hate to have to put a modern coaster brake on an old Westwood rim.

Assuming this is the later (1930's) version of the BSA coaster, not the BSA/Eadie coaster, I have new parts for it. PM me.

Just to clarify, the hub is a New Eadie and the part is the brass piece similar to the one on the right in the picture of the blue bucket (last photo) http://rustybikebell.wordpress.com/tag/ ... aster-hub/
